car
Thanks to Grammie, this car now has batteries in it. Caelin loves it, he's been sitting on it now for at least a half and hour. Yesterday, when it was time to get dressed he wouldn't get off, two temper tantrums later the car disappeared for the day.

hookin'
Worked on a family heirloom today and had a lovely day without the little darlings. My goal is to get this rug done before the end of September. I only started hooking it about 4 years ago and its still not done. I just have to finish the border, simple right? Would be simple if I didn't have so many other fun things to do. I'll finish it for Georgia, guess it will be her's someday.
If you haven't tried hooking, its like colouring on burlap with pieces of wool, and the results are nice, old fashioned looking rugs or wall hangings. Just one of my hobbies :)

Bath Time
Tonight Caelin asked if he could have his bath in the sink. We only ever bathed him one other time in the sink, but what I really think he wanted out of it was an opportunity to poor water over his sister's head. The proof is in the pictures, he looks all sweet in the first picture (actually, he looks like he's up to no good) but the second picture tells the whole story. Good thing she's tough and loves her brother.

Thursday
Our Thursday consisted of painting the barn. One more coat and we'll be on to the next project. The kids were very full of it this evening, Georgia trying to fall out of her rocking chair and Caelin playing his piano. Once they were in bed, I had a chance to catch the tree picture. The sunset looked so neat through the branches of our maple tree.
